Hong Kong is to host Asia's first cybercrime summit as the region attempts to effectively police the Internet.
Organised by Hong Kong University's Centre for Criminology, the summit will bring together top law enforcers, academics, policy-makers and the private sector.
The two-day event in April has attracted sponsors such as Microsoft and Visa.
Most Asian countries - including China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Australia, Singapore and Vietnam - will be represented.
The summit comes as nations around the region try to tackle cybercrime either through existing laws, or through new laws drafted for the Internet age.
One of the major topics will be Hong Kong's response to cybercrime, in particular the recent report from the interdepartmental working group on computer-related crime.
