Students, teachers and principals had their hands full in organising activities for the Sports Spirit Day. The event wrapped up the annual sports campaign organised by the Sports Devel opment Board. About 100,000 primary and secondary stu dents, teachers and principals organised various activities to promote teamwork, fair play, the pursuit of excellence and commitment for Sports Spirit Day. Pentecostal Gin Mao Sheng Primary School was one of the few primary schools that took part in the event. Principal Poon Yik-man said students who participated in the event had learned the sportsmanship that was seldom taught in textbooks. He said nowadays young people failed to achieve their goals when they face difficulties. The event was a good opportunity for them to learn qualities needed to make their life a suc cess.
