Students of Queen's College were told at the annual speech day to continue life-long learning to meet future challenges.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of Education Anthony Tong Kai-hong emphasised that young men of today should be well equipped with knowledge in different areas to meet the changes around them because 'today's challenge equips students for the challenge of tomorrow'. He told students not just to devote their energy to examinations, but also try to project their learning beyond the classrooms, enriching themselves in different domains.
In her report, principal Cheung Lam Lai-king extended her gratitude to former principal Lee Kar-hung for the contributions he had made to the school during his six years of office.
Guests were informed that students continued to obtain outstanding results in public examinations.
Yuen Kai-hang and Mak Chi- lam had each obtained 10 A's in the HKCEE.
Woo Yip-hin and Wong Chun-kit each obtained five distinctions in all the subjects they sat in the A-levels last year.
