More than 70 higher education institutions will be among the many schools and colleges opening their enrolment registers to students in Hong Kong next week at the British Education Exhibition. These institutions will be promoting further study opportunities for Hong Kong students considering gaining globally-recognised qualifications. The exhibition, organised by the British Council, will be held from February 10-11 at hall B of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai. Admission is free. Language schools, primary and secondary schools and further education colleges (post-secondary study below degree level) and universities in Britain will not only provide students with avenues to pursue academic studies but also an opportunity to broaden their cultural horizons. Students will be able to inquire about entrance and visa requirements, application processes and fees, tuition, scholarships, accommodation and other aspects related to English language courses, vocational study, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes or even distance learning options. The British Council assures the student that whatever his or her goal or chosen area of study, there is a 'place for you somewhere in UK education'.
