The education and Careers Expo will highlight the latest information on further studies and job prospects. It will be held from February 15 to 18, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and has been jointly organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and the Labour Department. The Expo is divided into education and careers sections, featuring more than 240 educational institutions and 60 public and private sector organisations. Among the highlights will be the Hong Kong Higher Education Pavilion, comprising SAR's eight tertiary institutions. Those who want to study in the mainland can get course information from Jinan University, Bei jing Institute of Technology, Ji Lin University, Northeast Normal University and Huaqao University. At the IT in Education section, eight exhibitors will provide information on e-commerce training, online education services and educational Web sites to cater to the rising demand for training in information technology and Internet-based studies. Visitors can also find information on further studies in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, Britain and the United States. There will be 92 education and careers seminars and 31 video sessions. Admission to the fair is free.
