POLICE last night appealed for witnesses to a possible baby snatching case in Tai Po after a two-year-old toddler went missing on Thursday evening. Wong Chi-yuen was left by his parents at a Tai Po playground with his brothers and sisters, the oldest of whom is 10. When the boy's father, Wong Wah-hing, 48, returned an hour later to pick up the children he found his second youngest child had disappeared. More than 100 policemen took part in a door-to-door search at Tai Yuen Estate yesterday but last night police said they were seeking a woman seen in the area with a baby of similar appearance to the missing boy. The woman is believed to be around 35-years-old, wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans. She is said to have shoulder length curly hair and is around 1.69 metres tall. Mr Wong suffers from a liver ailment and relies on public assistance of $6,000 to support his 31-year-old wife, and the seven children. They live in Kwong Yi House, Kwong Fuk Estate in Tai Po.
