Leading the foreign legion about to hit our shores are Dave Seaman and Timo Maas for the Renaissance 2001 World Tour at the Exhibition Centre on February 24. Seaman is a regular here, while Maas is returning after his debut here last year. Since then the innovative German's stock has continued to rise. He was voted DJ of the Year 2000 by Ministry magazine.

As a producer and DJ, Maas has pioneered the post trance sound. He is the uber meister of the new millennium, producing and remixing more than 85 tracks over the past three years. 'I like the idea of building up a unique sound, of working with different sounds to create something new and fresh,' Maas says, labelling himself an underdog. That tag which won't stick much longer. Maas is regularly tearing up the charts in Britain and the US and now accords star status on his own.

While Timo Maas was DJing on the Western side of the Berlin Wall, Paul van Dyk was DJing on the other. The East German techno champion is returning to the venue he played just a few months ago - the old Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai -on March 10. Tickets are $480 from HMV. Check www.wayouteast.com
Pink has unveiled its line-up for Pink 0303 at HITEC on March 3. Prodigious producers and remixers K-Klass will headline with their funky, uplifting house sets. Sweden's techno guru Adam Beyer and Hungarian Corvin Dalek, who DJs and produces in Berlin, are also on the truly international bill. For details visit www.pink.com.hk or call Pink on 2547 8899.
