Road action needed

As a resident and morning jogger on Bowen Road, I am concerned at the amount of traffic that passes along this road, between Magazine Gap Road and Borret Road. The dangerous speeds at which some careless drivers go, particularly taxis and minibuses, is a danger to all pedestrians including the children of Island School. I have witnessed several 'near-misses' and have reported these vehicles.

I urge the Secretary for Transport to build speed bumps and put maximum speed signs up, the limits of which should be enforced, before it is too late.
