Phoenix eyes revenue rise

China-based operator Phoenix Satellite Television Holdings expects its advertising revenue to maintain double digit growth this year due to strong demand, according to a company executive.

Leung Noong-kong, deputy chief executive at Phoenix TV, said trends showed advertising demand was growing at a very strong rate.

He expected this trend to continue in the next three to five years, helping to boost advertising revenue from China to double digit growth in the same period.

The Growth Enterprise Market-listed company recently posted 67.3 per cent growth in turnover for the half-year to December 31 due to healthy gains in advertising sales.
