MOST teams in the Management Game continued to reap profits in period five amid a favourable economic climate.
All but one team made money, with profits ranging from $100 to $2.07 million. Ten teams posted a seven-digit profit while on average teams made $986,548.
Teams won orders averaging 230,340 units of product AW, 67,450 units of product AI and 73,428 units of product DI. Teams spent $1.33 million on marketing and $298,041 on product development.
Only eight teams were interested in contract sales. Successful bids ranged from $41 to $48 for product AC and from $75 to $79 for product DC.
During the period, all teams repaid part of their loans.
After the end of the period, four teams ran out of stock of product A while another four had no product D. Two other teams were left with no finished stock.
