Sex survey reveals little appeal
Hong Kong people are shy about their sex appeal and less sexually imaginative than their East Asian neighbours, a survey has found.
Only five per cent of Hong Kong men felt they were sexy, compared with 55 per cent in the Philippines and 48 per cent in South Korea, a Time magazine survey found.
Hong Kong women also fared badly, with only 16 per cent saying they felt sexy, compared with 68 per cent in the Philippines. Two per cent of men in Hong Kong admitted they liked to be spanked to enrich their sex lives, compared with 37 per cent of Thai men, 34 per cent of Thai women and 26 per cent of men in Singapore.
More than 1,000 people from each of Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea, Singapore and the Philippines took part in the poll.
Only one per cent of Hong Kong women said they had had a same-sex encounter, compared with 16 per cent of Thai women.
Fifty-five per cent of male respondents from Hong Kong said they always had good sex with their wives. But only 34 per cent of SAR women agreed.
