Writ claims police brutality

A man is seeking damages after claiming he was beaten by police. Lam Yuk-shing, in a High Court writ lodged yesterday, says he is seeking unspecified damages for 'personal injury, loss and damage as a result of assault by several police officers'. The writ states the alleged assaults took place in Tuen Mun police station on March 19 and April 25.
