Alex Wong Siu-tan's Race To Honour should take all the beating in the Yan Oi Tong Cup, tonight's feature race at Sha Tin. The 1,650-metre event may be only an all-weather affair but it is wide open and should provide an exciting finish. If that were not enough, it is also the final leg of the estimated $90 million Triple Trio, which should have the crowd at fever pitch. Multiple dirt winner Race To Honour moves back to his preferred surface, where he has made the frame in nine of his 14 attempts over tonight's trip. He is ideally drawn in barrier three and is fairly treated in the handicap. His last win rating was 67, and tonight he races off a mark of 71. Hero's Way, another dirt specialist, put in a highly encouraging effort on the less favourable turf last time when making up considerable ground to finish fourth behind Hornet. With a light weight of 114 pounds (including a probable one pound overweight) and champion jockey Robbie Fradd on board, he should be in the thick of things. Real Good has taken some time to reach his peak this season but looks primed to run well tonight. His effort in defeat last time behind Jeune King Prawn was full of merit and he has claims to make the frame. Geoff Lane has Flags Up in terrific shape at present and the son of Common Grounds has a perfect strike-rate over this course and distance with two wins from two starts. He ran a game second to Splendid Star over the unsuitable 1,200 metres last time, and would have won the race in a couple more bounds. Tony Millard, who ended a long run of outs at the weekend, is well represented with the Argentine-bred Equikit. He put in a sound effort when finishing fifth behind Bellagio last time, when he was not suited by the sedate tempo. The six-year-old Bon Bon will be bidding for his fourth win of the season but Eddie Lai has a difficult task from barrier 13. He has a chance of making the frame. Born Dragon, who was placed on his only attempt on the all-weather, looked in good order when winning a barrier trial recently. Super Goal Striker has solid recent form, but he is making his debut on the all-weather and looks a risky proposition in such a competitive event. Graphic: SE1650glo
