Punish Cable for dreadful sports coverage

Once again, we have an example of the continuing blatant incompetence of Cable TV, as it carried the World Cup qualifier between Albania and England early on Thursday morning with only a Cantonese commentary.

I should point out that I do have Nicam, but an English commentary was not provided for the match.

The Government has a duty to intervene when those enjoying, and indeed abusing, a monopoly cannot conduct themselves with responsibility. The Government should dictate to Cable TV that it sort itself out or its licence will be immediately revoked.
