Jail term for 'mother'

Rosalina L. Serrano, 45, was jailed for four months at Western Court yesterday for posing as the mother of a Filipino man, Rommel R. Caballes, also known as Alberto L. Mendoza, and sponsoring Hong Kong residency for him. She pleaded guilty to two counts of aiding and abetting her friend to make false representation to an immigration officer. Caballes was earlier convicted and jailed for 10 months.
