Bank of America rises 10pc on lower provisions

Bank of America (Asia) has reported a 10.1 per cent rise in net profit to HK$794 million for the year to December 31, helped by lower provisions for bad debts. Net interest income rose 2 per cent to HK$1.13 billion, with a net interest margin of 3.4 per cent.
