Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing has once again invited Jean-Paul Gaultier to design the wardrobe for his concerts.

He said he was advised not to wear skirts anymore since his appearance in a short skirt with long, flowing hair at his last concert in August had stirred controversy.

However, he said the criticisms did not bother him.

Cheung said he would take a long break after his concerts and give his career moves some serious thought.

Miriam Yeung Chin-wah, Jordan Chan Siu-chun, Ma Chun-wai and Ho Wan-sze have been sworn in as anti-drug ambassadors.

The government programme aims to promote a healthy lifestyle in view of the increase in drug use at rave parties.

Yeung said she had been to rave parties but had never used drugs because she was aware of the dangers involved. She advised young people to stay away from drugs.

New singer Hon Yeung was sent to hospital because of a drug overdose. Hon denied he had tried to commit suicide, but admitted that he had been under a lot of pressure.

Some said the incident was a publicity stunt. Hon's record company said he was a talented singer and did not need to resort to such publicity.

The average rating for the last episode of the TV drama The Duke of Mount Deer reached 39 points. During the scene in which Princess Jianning, played by Lin Xinru, was killed, ratings reached 46 points.

Dicky Cheung Wai-kin, the leading actor in the drama, had promised to take his seven 'wives' on a trip to Japan to thank them for their hard work. But Lin said it was difficult to arrange because everyone was busy.

Singer Julian Cheung Chi- lam said his new album would contain a song sung by his mother and sister together with him.

Cheung's sister came back to Hong Kong from Australia for the Easter holiday. He said his sister, 17, was in love and he had nothing against it.
