Describe A Monkey Among Crocodiles.
It's the biography of a heroically eccentric and disastrous Victorian called Georgina Weldon.
How important was the timing of the book?
Mrs Weldon believed her story would endure for 100 years and though she had it privately published in six volumes (in very erratic French), exactly a hundred years passed without the smallest trace of recognition. I have tried to help her out.
