FOUR of eight pedigree dogs stolen from a pet shop in Lockhart Road, Wan Chai, on Wednesday were recovered by police yesterday after the arrest of a 25-year-old man. The dogs - worth $80,000 - were grabbed from the President Pet Shop by three men, one armed with a gun. Not long after the robbery, a man went to a pet shop in Causeway Road and told the proprietor he had several pedigree dogs to sell. The proprietor became suspicious and asked him to come back later. The police were called and when the man returned he was arrested and four dogs recovered.
