SCMP Holdings denies Next Media rumours

Following on recent inquiries to the South China Morning Post (Holdings) Limited (SCMP Holdings) regarding reports of its or Mr Kuok Hock Nien's purported interest in Next Media Limited and/or Apple Daily, Mr Kuok Khoon Ean, Chairman of SCMP Holdings, confirms that no approaches have been made by or to SCMP Holdings in this regard, nor does SCMP Holdings have any interest in either Next Media Limited or Apple Daily. SCMP Holdings has also been informed by Mr Kuok Hock Nien that no approaches have been made by or to him and he is not interested in either Next Media Limited or Apple Daily.
