Canto-star Andy Hui Chi-on will be holding a series of concerts at the Hong Kong Coliseum this month, following the recent release of his latest Mandarin-language album How Are You This Second?
Hui is regarded as a successor to pop kings such as Jacky Cheung Hok-yau and Andy Lau Tak-wah, having just won the best male singer award from Commercial Radio and Metro Radio earlier this year.
Hui first came to public attention in 1986, aged 19, as a runner-up in a singing contest organised by TVB. Since those humble beginnings he has developed a strong fan base, helped by his TV appearances in dramas and movies.
Catch Hui on the stage from May 24 to 27. The concerts start at 8.15pm. Tickets are available from Urbtix (tel: 2734 9009). Only $380 tickets remain.
