Taiwanese held over smuggling of birds

Customs seized 17 birds from a Taiwanese man at the Lok Ma Chau border. The suspect, 45, allegedly hid the small birds, intended for sale as pets, in his bags. He was handed over to the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department.
