Tornado Development has signed a deal to provide unified messaging technology to Telekom Malaysia's communication portal, iOFFICE.com.my.

Financial terms of the arrangement were not released, but a statement billed the deal as one of the largest of its kind in Asia.

California-based Tornado will provide software to allow users of the Malaysian communication portal to access voice, data, fax and video messages from devices ranging from laptop computers to Internet enabled personal digital assistants (PDAs) and two-way pagers.
