SPORTS coverage is well up to scratch today, though, again, only if you've got access to satellite.
The second rugby test between the British Lions and the All Blacks comes live from Wellington in New Zealand (Prime Sports 10.30am).
New Zealand narrowly won the first test 20-18 when fly-half Grant Fox kicked a penalty in the closing minutes. The match was a nervous affair, with neither side really settling or overpowering. Lions' tour captain Gavin Hastings and Fox dominated the match with their kicking, scoring a total 11 penalties.
In addition to rugby, Prime Sports continues its live Wimbledon coverage (9pm), as well as broadcasting the Round Seven of the Motorcycle Grand Prix Championships live from Assen in Holland (5.30pm). Nine top 500cc riders crashed out of the Dutch TT lastyear.
NON-sporting types are in for a rather less exciting Saturday. Most of the films are re-runs and the one first-run, Funny Farm (Pearl 9.30pm, Original Running Time 99 mins) is another of those well-intentioned Chevy Chase vehicles that raises a titterrather than a belly laugh.
Chase and Madolyn Smith (All of Me) play a couple of New Yorkers who buy a country retreat in Redbud, and quickly have their dreams of rural Utopia shattered.
