SCMP Reporter

The Education Department  and Radio Television Hong  Kong (RTHK) have jointly  produced a Green at Heart  Environmental Education  Teaching Kit to support envi ronmental education in kin dergartens, primary and sec ondary schools.

The kit, based on RTHK's Green at Heart TV series, comprises three VCDs and a user's guide.

The series highlights what  individuals and groups can  do to protect the environ ment. It was broadcast on  TVB-Jade late last year and  was well received by schools.

The  department has set up a Web site for teachers to  share experiences. It can be accessed  at http://cd.ed.gov.  hk/ccs/ee/cindex.htm or  Hong Kong Education City  (http://www.hkedcity.net).

The kit can be collected by schools until Saturday.
