A HONGKONG resident was arrested in Johannesburg after ivory worth 400,000 rand (HK$820,000) was seized at the airport. The unidentified Hongkonger, and a Singaporean were about to board a plane to Singapore on Thursday. A police spokesman said the ivory, cut into blocks, was equal to 300 tusks. It was believed to originate from Congo.
