Students show school design talents

Students from 50 local primary and secondary schools used their talents to design a new type of school in a design contest.

Their winning entries in the form of 3D models are now being shown at the Hong Kong Arts Centre.

The 'Beyond Classroom'' Design Competition was organised by the Department of Architecture of the Chinese University of Hong Kong Chinese University (CUHK) in collaboration with the Education

Department, the Hong Kong Institute of Architects and the Hong Kong Arts Centre with the help of under the auspices of the Quality Education Fund.

In the senior division, SKH Li Ping Secondary School and Sacred Heart Canossian College took the top prizes.

In the primary division, St Paul's Co-education Primary School (Kennedy Road) and Po Leung Kuk Chong Kee Ting Primary School were the joint champions.
