Officer on graft charges

Civil Service Bureau executive officer Colin Lau Che-shing, 38, pleaded not guilty at Eastern Court yesterday to five counts of accepting an advantage. Lau is accused of taking $70,200 in loans from subordinates in August and September last year. The case was adjourned for trial on August 6.
