Post-modern, pan-Asian

Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean ... you'll be forgiven for being unable to tell the difference this season as international designers indulge in a bit of post-modern pastiche. Pan-Asian references ran rampant on runways, and included kimono jackets, kung fu pants, chinoiserie prints, origami details and more fans than you could shake a chopstick at. Oriental cliches? Perhaps, but wear with a wink - and red lacquer lipstick - and you'll get away with it.
