Hong Kong-based software firm Continuous Technologies International has appointed Rosaline Tam president of its Hong Kong and Asia operations. Ms Tam was MasterCard's vice-president and general manager for Hong Kong and Macau and, most recently, vice-president for advance payments and e-business for Greater China. She has also worked for Citibank and American Express travel-related services in Australia.
Systems integrator Datacraft Asia has appointed Frank Pang director of services and David Cheah chief information officer. Mr Pang is responsible for strategic development and management of Datacraft's services business and operations across the region. Before joining Datacraft, Mr Pang was senior vice-president of global services for Hong Kong-based Logistics Information Network Enterprise. Mr Cheah is responsible for developing and implementing Datacraft's information technology strategy and the group's quality-assurance programme. He takes over from Ian Baker, who has resigned. Mr Cheah was chief executive of Asia eBiz.com.
Lycos Asia has named Leong Kwong-yee Hong Kong country director. Before joining Lycos Asia, Mr Leong was head of Hong Kong operations for Similan.com, the holding company for auction site SurfingBananas. Mr Leong also worked as international sales and marketing manager for Torica, a Japanese trading company in the IT peripherals industry. He was responsible for business development and operations in the Asia-Pacific markets, directly in charge of the Singapore and Hong Kong offices.
