Experience rural life in Guangdong

YOUTH centres under the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals will launch a special trip to Guangdong this summer for young people to experience the simplicity of agricultural life.

Participants will also have the opportunity to help the people there by taking part in community service.

Apart from visiting the poor agricultural villages in northern Guangdong, participants will work on the farms with the families and organise cultural and recreational activities for them.

The experience will also promote cultural exchange between rural and urban life.

The trip will be held from August 2 to 7.

Training and briefings will be organised next month to give participants some background information on how the poor live in China.
