Simon Wong Tim-keung is the founder of the Ming Ri Theatre company, which uses puppetry and drama to educate children. He is director of the Chinese Puppets and Shadow Association and a member of several government bodies.
Where are you most likely to be at 10am on a Sunday? At home, drawing and checking out photograph albums with my 13-year-old daughter.
Where are you most likely to be at 10pm on a Friday? Sitting in some administrative meeting or other.
Where do you go to escape in Hong Kong? My home in Shau Kei Wan where I bury myself in photograph albums.
Whom in Hong Kong do you admire most? John Woo, for his passion and faith in himself and for his consistency. Few know about the effort and sacrifices he made before he came to the forefront in the late 1980s, yet his attitude has changed very little. I would also like to salute legislators Lau Chin-shek, Leung Yiu-chung and Szeto Wah.
Whom do you least admire? Pro-China politician Xu Si-min. I believe a politician should step down when he has grown too biased for logical thinking - but he is too stubborn to resign.
