After nine months of preparation and hard work by five teachers and 20 enthusiastic parents, the inauguration ceremony of the parent-teacher association of CNEC Lau Wing Sang Secondary School was held recently. Four hundred parents and guests attended the ceremony. Principal Cheng Tak-foo gave the guests a warm welcome. Tik Chi-yuen, chairman of the Home-School Co-operation Committee, delivered a speech on the importance of close co- operation between the school and parents. Mr Tik also talked about the meaning of setting up a parent-teacher association. The school choir performed some songs as a special salute to parents.
