CLOSE encounters of the alien kind are the subject of Intruders, a two-part mini-series based on the findings of Bud Hopkins, a man who spent 16 years collating cases of hundreds of people who claim to have been abducted by beings from other planets.
Hopkins asks that sceptical viewers keep an open mind in watching Intruders (Pearl, 9.30pm, part two tomorrow).
It stars Richard Crenna (the Rambo movies) as a prominent psychiatrist trying to help Mare Winningham (Turner and Hooch ) come to terms with her intergalactic experiences.
HONGKONG has a surfeit of up-to-the-minute Wimbledon action: today and tomorrow both World (9.30pm) and Prime Sports (9pm) will broadcast the event live.
You could always get out the spare set and watch today's Ladies Singles quarter finals in stereo.
Have some sunglasses at the ready to watch presenter Charlie Charters and top Hongkong tennis player Mike Walker introduce World's coverage.
Apparently, the set is in lurid shades of purple and green, and poor old Charlie and Mike have been draped in black and gold jackets.
