A summer International Arts Carnival featuring more than 200 performances and activities for the whole family is to start next month.
The carnival is part of the 'City of Life: Hong Kong is it!' programmes.
'The New Generation Self- Exploration Venture' to involve teenagers in video-making day camps, puppetry and multimedia workshops has been added this year.
The carnival, to be held from July 13 to August 26, will have a total of 80 shows presented by over 20 performing groups from Hong Kong, the mainland, Ja pan, Korea, France, Britain, the United States and Canada.
The carnival will be divided into Kungfu and Acrobatic Wonders; Secret Mythical Corner; and Big People and Me.
Shows will include martial arts, acrobatics, dance, puppetry, drama, clowning and concerts.
