Former South China Morning Post staff member Victor Garcia, who oversaw the newspaper's office assistants and copy typists, died on Monday night, aged 82. Affectionately known as 'Gar-suk', he spent more than 20 years at the Post. He was a member of the Lusitano Club and brother to the territory's first ombudsman, Arthur Garcia. Funeral services will be held next week.
