THE temperature drops a couple of degrees as you walk from the back of this seaside villa to the front, where a cooling breeze freshens the air.

  Situated just off of Castle Peak Road, Villa de Mer comprises six detached deluxe seaside houses with panoramic views of the calm water.

  The street itself has been built up with attractive villas featuring balconies and flowering shrubs.

  Built on four levels, this villa has 1,662 square feet of living area and a private split-level rooftop of 635 square feet. At the sea front and around the home is about 700 square feet of garden area. Each unit has space for two cars with single-door access directly into the living room.

  The owner of the featured villa is selling it fully furnished.

  From the entrance, stairs lead up to the dining room, kitchen, maid's quarters and master bedroom level, while another stairway takes you down to the living room.

  The dining area is dominated by an oval table with seating for six. From a large window, light falls across the brown and white parquet floor.

  Another set of honey-lacquered steps leads to the lower level roof-top. There is room for tables and chairs, somewhere to sit and enjoy the sunshine.

  A further 10 steps takes you to the highest level where there is ample space to create an attractive outdoor entertainment around and area with white-painted railings and 360-degree views.

  If you take the lower steps at the entrance, you arrive in the sitting room.

 Simply furnished and with light lacquered flooring, this area, like the rest of the unit, is designed to take full advantage of the views and the sea breezes.

  With ceilings 10 metres high, there is an exaggerated sense of spaciousness while recesses in the walls are suitable for plant boxes.

  Furnishings are in rose pink and mint green with simple calico-coloured blinds to filter out the afternoon sun.

  Through another door is a small bathroom.

  From the sitting room, glass doors lead to a back garden with a drop down to the beach.

     A footpath runs around the edges and a lawn and trees have been planted.
