Shek O collision leaves three in serious condition
Updated at 2.57pm: Three of the nine people injured after two family cars crashed head on at a Shek O Road interchange are still in a serious condition, police said on Monday.
25-year-old driver, surnamed Au, was carrying two sisters and a friend on a family outing on Sunday afternoon, when his car span out of control and slammed in to a vehicle carrying a family of five.
All nine passengers and drivers were rushed to Eastern District Hospital, Five were discharged after receiving medication.
By noon on Monday, a 58-year-old man was in stable condition. Two men and Au's sister were still in a serious condition.
