One popular game at a recent school fun fair should have come with the following warning: Don't try this at home!

Not that students were asked to perform death-defying stunts at the one-day event organised by the Hong Kong College of Technology, but rather, the 'Face and Body Painting' exercise was certainly too messy to be done in any living room.

Still, most of those who attended the one-day event were not at all bothered about getting their hands and faces dirty.

Another highlight of the day was a drama production staged by the Arts and Disabled Association. The show aimed to stimulate interaction between the three young performers and the audience.

There were also 10 games stalls specially designed by students to promote creative thinking.

'It is only through arts that we can enhance young people's creativity,' said Alan Poon Yiu-wah, marketing manager of the college. He believes a student's intellectual development should not be based only on academic knowledge.
