The staff of management consultants McKinsey & Co had better watch their step, as any blunders could be publicised on the Internet by a new member of staff.
Lai See hears on the grapevine that Kenny Lam, the co-founder of the notorious Internet chat site IceRed.com, has joined McKinsey.
IceRed has incurred the wrath of more than a few companies who fear staff are spending too much time gossiping on the Web site instead of crunching numbers.
And who is being talked about on the site has also raised firms' ire. Discussions on who's the sexiest person in a variety of offices are standard fare.
But comments about senior staff and business dealings have led some companies to have their names deleted from discussions on the site.
However, no mention of Mr Lam's appointment at McKinsey appear to have been made on IceRed's discussion forums. This is despite Mr Lam's appointment supposedly being announced to staff at McKinsey last week.
