OAG now offers users of personal digital assistants (PDAs) access to key travel information. With OAG FlightSync, users of all Palm OS and Pocket PC OS PDAs, have unlimited direct access to the OAG database, which contains information on more than 600,000 direct and connecting flights, and can download personalised flight and travel data to their PDA.
Summer savers
A number of hotels in Hong Kong have launched lower summer rates. The upmarket Peninsula Hong Kong is offering a No Frills rate of HK$2,700 per room per night, which represents savings of 20 per cent. It is valid until September 30. The Share the Experience package is available for HK$2,850 per room per night, including fruit basket, breakfast, clothes pressing and more. It is also valid until September 30. In addition, the Regal Riverside Hotel has a Summer Delight package which includes complimentary buffet breakfast for two, at a rate of HK$680, based on single or double occupancy. The rate is valid until September 15 this year.

Century lodge
Century International Hotels is developing Island Lodge in Dongguan. The 41-room property below Lotus Hill, a 30 minute drive from Shenzhen, features private balconies with panoramic view of the golf courses, the mountains, the pool or the lakes. The rooms are equipped with facilities including IDD telephones, fax outlet and Internet line, cable TV with more than 30 channels, in-room safe and mini bar. The Island Lodge is due to open in September/October.
