Hong Kong is a city filled with opportunities and there are many alternative routes for secondary school leavers to continue their studies.
Through the new School of Business and Information Systems (SBI) set up by the Vocational Training Council, Form Five graduates will now be able to get a university degree earlier than those promoted to Form Six.
This year, SBI will offer more Higher Diploma places for Form Five and Seven students.
The SBI will admit its first batch of full-time students for two new Higher Diploma courses in business studies in September.
Graduates will have the opportunity to pursue one-year top-up degree courses in Hong Kong offered by universities including Leeds Metropolitan University and Middlesex University in the United Kingdom; and Queensland University and the University of Technology in Australia.
