Tactless advert insults Christian religion

I am depressed to see that Perrier, the fizzy water bottler, has resorted to advertising that is as tasteless, but less sparkling, than its product.

One of its current ads shows what appears to be a cross constructed of credit cards with a soundtrack of the Hallelujah chorus.

I might be mistaken, but this seems to me to be, at best, a direct reference to the Christian religion and, at worst, an insult.

Even though cynics say that money is the only religion in Hong Kong, I would have thought that in the interests of secularism, other religions should not be subjected to such abuse.
