Boston Public
Pearl, 8.30pm
School has never been more filled with sex and violence than in David E Kelley's Boston Public. And that's just the faculty. This episode offers more headaches for Steven Harper (Chi McBride) when he refuses to sign John LeBlonde's Magna Club application. LeBlonde is an excellent student but his association with the recently suspended soccer team does not go down well with the principal. Nor do his feelings for Lauren Davis (Jessalyn Gilsig). Davis, meanwhile, catches Susan Potter and Peter Nelson in an intimate moment. In Harvey Lipschultz's (Fyvush Finkel, above with Sharon Leal) class, a fight breaks out. Also, the school's charity show gets underway, with students poking fun at teachers Scott Guber (Anthony Heald), Marla Hendricks (Loretta Devine), Milton Buttle (Joey Slotnick) and others.
