SHARK flags will be lowered at all 17 beaches in Tsuen Wan and on the outlying islands today as no sightings have been reported in the areas for the past month. But the Regional Services Department, which closed all its beaches last month following two fatal shark attacks in Sai Kung, said the 13 Tuen Mun and Sai Kung beaches would continue to fly the flags. The 17 re-opened beaches are Angler's, Approach, Casam, Gemini, Hoi Mei Wan, Lido, Ting Kau in Tsuen Wan, Ma Wan's Tung Wan beach, and Cheung Chau's Tung Wan and Kwun Yum Wan, and Silvermine Bay, Lo So Shing, Hung Shing Yeh, Pui O, Lower Cheung Sha, Upper Cheung Sha, and Tong Fuk beaches on Lamma and Lantau islands.
