An executive director of property giant Henderson Land Development was fined by a court yesterday for late reporting. Fung Lee Woon-king, the sister of Henderson Land chairman Lee Shau-kee, pleaded guilty to four summonses before magistrate Ms Polly Lo at Western Magistracy. Mrs Fung was fined HK$20,000 and ordered to pay HK$5,693 costs to Securities and Futures Commission. The summonses concerned the late reporting to Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing of the disposal of 250,000 shares of Hong Kong and China Gas between December 7 last year and February 8 this year. Hong Kong and China Gas is an associate company of Henderson Land, and Mrs Fung - as a director of Henderson - had a duty under the disclosure law to report to HKEx within five days of the disposals. However she delayed reporting by up to 21 days after the transactions.
