Janson Wong is preparing to face the police this week to clear up the dispute over his firm.

'It's been almost a year. They [the police] did not get back to me and I can't wait anymore,' he said.

'I went to the police station a few days ago. They promised to meet me on Monday.'

But his comments drew a furious response from clients who have had goods damaged or disappear.

Mercy de Guzman, 44, who has lost $50,000 worth of goods, said: 'I can't believe he is blaming the police and the press. The police only acted because there had been a number of complaints. This has been caused by his total negligence.'

Jonathan Zeal, who has returned to the UK, reacted with disgust when told Mr Wong had blamed Mr Zeal's 'girlfriend' for the shipment that left their cars and goods damaged.
