We have been educated to prevent osteoporosis by drinking milk, which increases our intake of calcium.
However, lactose-reduced milk is not available in Hong Kong, even though the majority of Hong Kong's population of 6.7 million suffers from lactose intolerance.
Can someone from any of Hong Kong's supermarkets explain why this is so? Though soya milk is sold, it is not the same as cow's milk and certainly cannot be replaced in tea, coffee and latte.
