Final approval for global e-university

Learning solutions provider Thomson Learning and Universitas21, an international network of universities, have signed a final agreement that forms a joint venture to establish a new online university, U21global. The venture will address the $111 billion global demand for higher education by offering business and technology degrees via the Internet, starting January 2003.
