I REFER to the recent correspondence relating to pornographic literature and the apparent harm and moral degeneration of young people which it may cause.
I have written twice before on this subject and advocated covering up the pictures.
This I now would like to see happen as a matter of urgency. ''Why?'' your readers may ask.
It is because we the so-called adults have allowed, without turning a hair, magazines featuring sado-masochism, lesbianism and pictorials of really lewd poses, to be openly displayed in Hongkong.
As I wrote previously, we the fathers and mothers and all adults, have a responsibility to young people who in time will take over senior positions within Hongkong's society and yet we allow this rubbish to continue.
Please let us, at the very least, cover up the pictures, as is done in the 7-Eleven, and get rid of the harder material altogether.
